Bihinga and Karago Wetlands are vital biodiverse wetlands ecosystem in Rwanda located in Nyabihu District host over 134 bird species include Endemic, Palearctic and Intra-African migrants birds where over four species are Threatened include Grauer’s Swamp Warbler (Bradypterus graueri) VU, Hooded Vulture (Necrosyrtes monachus) CR, Mountain Buzzard (Buteo Oreophilus) NT, Gray Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum) EN, Papyrus Yellow Warbler (Calamonastides gracilirostris) VU , offering unique opportunities for both local community and birders to benefits economically as well as nature beauty to tourist
