Rwanda Ringing Scheme

Rwanda as one among African country lies in Flyways route of migratory birds both Palearctic and Intra-African migrants, it contributes much to species decline or growth through conservation efforts applied in its habitat. Ringing Project play great role by collecting bird information on birds migration in Rwanda to conservation advise policymakers and stakeholders to nature conservation in their practices. Over 74 Species have been ringed since 2019 from common resident species, migrants, and endemics to Albertine Rift by Malcolm Wilson and Graeme Donlup.
