Biodiversity conservation is our critical part of work to ensure sustainable development of nature in our region. We committed to protect Rwanda birds habitats against gradual loss and degradation in different parts of country, this will keep healthy and safe the critical endangered species and endemics live in area under consideration.
Since 1969 we realized that Rwanda has undergone in very deep changes like other African Country, the human population tripled and natural and semi-natural habitat which covered almost half of country have reduced about 10% which led to habitat restriction from wetlands, savannah forest to protected areas. these changes affected biodiversity where some species declined gradually which leads to their extinction in Rwanda, others are very few which is difficult to know if they really survived in small number somewhere or disappeared. We are very concerned about these changes and eager to call everyone to join hands to tackle this issue. By joining our community members you will contribute to our conservation project to protect habitat.
